INTENTION: 

My project 2 intend to design a art exhibition place in the Henry Deane Plaza. There are many people passing by Henry Deane Plaza every day, while most of the time in the tunnel would be depressed and darkness and even crowded. Therefore this art exhibition place is planing to provide passengers with a bright and happiness place, where would interactive with the people by giving them more innovative design and a fantasy experience. During the journal when people go alone with the art exhibition, they have there rights to vote which one they are prefer. Finally, the work that got the most votes would get a government award. All people can attend this exhibition such as the universities student and office workers.

Two sketches have been drawed based on my original idea design that tend to provided people who passed by Henry Deane Plaza with expectative, innovative and fantasy experience. 

The first design is a sketch entertainment room in Henry Deane Plaza using the sketch up. It completely met the principle of architecture, expectation, level and relaxation, while it presents not that innovative and advanced. Followed the suggestion from my tutor that entertainment room is too basic to attract people from its layout or creation element. 

The second one is a wishing room, they can go to make a vow. Just imagine those couples who are fall in love with each other and go into the wishing room make a best wished for themselves that hoping they can always love each other and a bright future.

Similarly, this idea would not that fresh or be regarded as a landmark building except for its unique shape design. 

The third one a transformation from the first idea. It is a suspended staircase which seems like the traditional Asian fan. Following the intention to design a functional and landmark architecture in that area. The function for that  design is it can provide people with a rest space to meeting. For the function of this staircase, it can played with space and surface by folding and rearranging the location of each fan blade. However, this idea is not much meaningful.
